Q&A with Ilana Shackelford, Account Coordinator, Executive Risk, ABD
In this episode of Falling Into It, we meet Ilana Shackelford, a 32-year-old account coordinator on the executive risk team at ABD, who hopes to manage her own book of business one day, while continuing to effect change in the industry.
A graduate of Heald College in San Francisco, Shackelford talks about her passion for insurance, how she ended up in this industry, and ABD’s efforts in creating a more diverse and welcoming industry for all. Shackelford says her involvement in various ERGs (employee resource groups) is what allows her to bring creativity to her day-to-day work.
