Riley is supported by Barry Dowlen, head of growth, and Debi Fleischer, head of operations. >> Business partners in U.S. Southeast join Acrisure’s Southeast hub and rebrand under company’s moniker led by Dave Hoover. It is the firm’s largest region by revenue and represents Acrisure’s third brand consolidation of 2024. 

Replaces Protective Insurance with Core Specialty subsidiary Lancer Insurance as backer for two trucking programs—Advantage, for companies with up to 25 trucks, and Environmental Transportation, for hazmat and environmental carriers—offered through Amwins Transportation Underwriters. 

Adds CEO of regions to Lori Goltermann’s titles (chief client officer; CEO, global enterprise clients), meaning all geographic regions will report to her. >> Promotes Alicia Goosen to head of professional services group in Global Banking Centre. Based in London, she will accelerate development of solutions for law, accounting, consulting and design firms. 

Hires Patrick Rastiello as CEO of Ardonagh Specialty North American reinsurance. He was CEO and president of Accredited and prior to that worked at Aon Reinsurance, where he launched the MGA group. 

This Lloyd’s brokerage opens Miami office and hires Jose Astorqui as CEO, Andrew Hye as executive director and Marcelo Podawacz as director and head of property. Astorqui was CEO and chief commercial officer at BMS Group Latin American and Caribbean and held executive roles at Lions Gate Latin America and Howden. Hye moves from Summa Brickell. Podawacz joins from Ardonagh. 

BRP partner Burnham Benefits Insurance Services (burnhambenefits.com) hires Bill Foderaro as managing director. He joins from OneDigital. 

Hires Nick Clements as CEO. He joins from OneMain Financial. >> Promotes Scott Pollard to director of agency development and Chinikqua Maddox to VP for strategic initiatives. The positions respond to growing need to offer full business support services to franchisees.

Opens first Boston office, headed by Peter Kestenbaum, who joins from Vault and is an expert in E&S. 

Founder Jack Doetzer died in February at age 89. Born in Baltimore, he served in the Army Reserves as a pilot and founded Consolidated in 1969. He was chair of NACSA (predecessor to The Council) in 1986-1987. He is survived by his wife, children (including John, now EVP of Consolidated), 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandkids plus many extended family. 

Hires Vince Colosimo as EVP in NYC downtown office with plans for him to assume role of office president in mid-2025. He will succeed Fred Curatolo, who will become office chairman, a newly created post. Colosimo moves from Markel.
